By the time I was 9, I was impressing my brother and his friends with my culinary skills which then included homemade french fries with tons of fried garlic. Sure, there was a time or two when I got a little carried away and started a small kitchen fire, but how else was I to learn firsthand the effects of flames?
So Why food blogging? I’ve always had a passion for culinary arts, but I didn’t want to work in a kitchen. I loved cooking at home and started posting my own recipes about eight years ago. I liked writing and it wasn’t long before I added restaurant reviews into the mix. There was something about trying new foods and sharing those experiences with others that I couldn’t get enough of. Lucky for me, the Detroit food scene started blowing up with a ton of talented and creative people. Today, the Bite Tonight focuses on reviews of the most mouth watering food in Detroit, this amazing city I call home.
