All natural is the bees knees these days. We are seeing organic items popping up all over menu’s and it just proves that healthy is the new comfort food. I have heard great things about Brome Burgers & Shakes and have been meaning to try them for months. So when I got the strong hankering for a juicy burger, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to stop in. Brome Burgers & Shakes believes in 100% organic, grass fed beef, cage free chicken, non GMO ingredients, and only the finest ingredients. Brome is also a supporter of local businesses by topping their burgers with McClure’s Pickles. Yes!
Deluxe Burger: Beef bacon, Aged White Cheddar, red onion, tomato, romaine, dijonnaise, and pickles. The burger was good, but it didn’t live up to all the hype. The dijonnaise just tasted like a runny mayo, and didn’t have any zip or tang like a dijon would. The fries were cold and tasted like they were made yesterday (bummer). On the other hand, they serve unlimited sriracha ketchup which rocked my world. The burger was messy, but in my opinion, a burger isn’t truly a burger unless you get drippage down your arm.
Brome Burgers & Shakes can be described as gourmet fast food. Guests place their order at the counter, then grab a seat in the dining room while they wait for a Brome staffer to bring the food out. Brome Burgers and Shakes is more than just, well, burgers and hand spun shakes. Customers can order tots, sweet potato and regular fries, salads, dogs, and sandwiches. Brome is also smoking their own brisket for the brisket sliders. However, it didn’t smell like smoked meats and if you’re smoking meats in house, it should. Brome offers monthly food specials, catering, and fundraising opportunities.
