I’ve been wanting to try Cloverleaf Bar’s pizza for a while. I’ve seen Cloverleaf Bar pop up on “best pizza” lists and they claim to be the home of Detroit style pizza. What’s Detroit style pizza, you ask? A rectangular pizza that has a thick, crisp crust and toppings. Cloverleaf Bar offers your typical pizza joint menu items, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, but they also offer Italian dishes including create your own pasta, classics like lasagna, eggplant parmesan, stuffed shells, and chicken marsala to name a few. In addition, Cloverleaf Bar offers what I like to refer to as a sophisticated menu (for a casual pizza place) consisting of steak, ribs, and seafood (battered shrimp, lake perch, broiled cod).
Greek Salad: This was a small and it was large enough to easily feed two people. Fresh ingredients and generous with the toppings.

Cheese pizza: One of my favorite things about a good slice of pizza is when the cheese comes out all bubbly, browned up and melted. What I really liked about Cloverleaf’s pizza is that they put cheese on the sides of the pizza pan so it gets super crispy. It’s delicious and the only way to make a thick Detroit style pizza.

Cloverleaf Bar offers really delicious, comfort food with generous portions at an affordable price. Cloverleaf Bar is a casual spot with serious eats. Cloverleaf Bar is a must for good, Detroit style pizza.
